Taketh From Orange And Giveth Back To Cotton

Okay. We’ve had it with the Orange Bowl, Big East and ACC. All three combine for one humungous pimple of the forehead of the BCS. West Virginia versus Clemson? Really? Barf! Either remove the Orange from the BCS, or take away the Big East’s and ACC’s BCS bowl tie ins. Because the Cotton is one of just four bowls this year to feature two Top 10 teams. And Cowboys Stadium is much cooler than Miami’s Sun Life Stadium on top of all that. Hogs win an offensive thriller, by the way.

PREDICTION: ARKANSAS 52-42

MUST KNOW INFO

The Cotton is the only bowl matching the Big 12 and SEC this year. The Hogs led the SEC in total offense, passing offense, finished second in scoring offense and are 3-0 in the new Cowboys Stadium.

BOWL BUSTER

Kansas State LB Arthur Brown is a First Team All Big 12 selection and the conference’s Defensive Newcomer of the Year. The transfer from Miami (FL) racked up 95 tackles – the most by a KSU defender since 2006.
